FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)

How deep should the water be to use the underwater trampoline properly?
For adults the water should have a depth of 120 to 140 cm. For children 90 cm is sufficient. But please note that the optimal depth of the water varies with the exercises you intend to do.

What is the optimal age to use the Aqua NoWa - Bouncer
The underwater trampoline aims at people of all ages. It can be used for aqua-fitness, therapy and fun – depending on the different ages and the exercises one intends to do.

Are there any weight limits for the underwater trampoline?
As the Aqua NoWa - Bouncer design is very stable, there are no weight limits. That’s why even challenging exercises can be employed without any restrictions.

Can the Aqua NoWa - Bouncer be used outside of water, too?
As the Aqua NoWa - Bouncer was designed especially for underwater use; we do not recommend its use out of water.

Can it be dangerous to use the underwater trampoline?
If you use the underwater trampoline properly, then no! As the movements in water are quite slow, the general risk of getting hurt is much lower than out of the water.

Are there any health-related restrictions for the use of the underwater trampoline?
For people without any health-related problems there are no restrictions. Should anyone have any doubts about his or her physical fitness, her or she should contact a doctor before using the underwater trampoline. If you use the underwater trampoline for therapy purposes, there should always be a qualified person in attendance to guide you.

How do you assemble the underwater trampoline?
The underwater trampoline is assembled out of the water and lowered into the water until in the position required.

Is it difficult to dismantle the underwater trampoline?
No, you just have to release one rubber sucker and lift up the whole trampoline out of the water.

Can I step barefoot on the Bouncer?
Yes, because both frame and springs are totally covered.

Does the Aqua-NoWa Bouncer require special care?
Not at all! We recommend the trampoline is removed from the water, if it is not being used for a long period, and washed with fresh water.

What safety requirements are important?
Inspect the equipment regularly and before use. If you notice that the protective frame covering, the bed or springs are damaged, repair or replace them.

Can chlorine water harm the Aqua-NoWa Boncer?
No, because all materials are resistant to chlorine water. Both the frame and all metal parts (springs, fixing bar, etc.) are made of high quality stainless steel that is generally used in swimming pools. The covering is made of neoprene, a highly approved material in the swimming and diving industry.

Is it possible to repair damaged underwater trampolines?
The Aqua-NoWa Bouncer is a long-lasting, high quality piece of sport equipment, built to last under normal usage. Broken components can be replaced very easily without previous experience.

Can the Bouncer be used only for aquafitness? How do I know how to use the underwater trampoline properly?
There are many possibilities to use the underwater trampoline: rehabilitation, therapy, training, fun, etc. The different kinds of usage are demonstrated on a DVD that is delivered with the Aqua-NoWa Bouncer.

Is it possible to combine the Aqua-NoWa Bouncer with other aquafitness equipment?
The Bouncer can be easily combined with other apparatus such as weights, barbells, therapy straps, pool noodles, etc. The combination with other apparatus allows exercises that aim at the whole body.

How firm does the underwater trampoline stand on the pool ground?
The Aqua-NoWa Bouncer is fixed with rubber suckers, ensuring that its position is absolutely stable. As its center of gravity is very low, it can’t tilt over to one side.
